Talbot County Master Gardener Volunteers host U.S. Geological Survey wildlife biologist Sam Droege at the Talbot County Free Library in Easton, MD, on Wednesday, Oct. 21, at 11 a.m. The talk is free, and no RSVP is needed.
The St. Michaels Business Association lists a Friday-through-Sunday autumn weekend with Foxy’s beer-and-oyster garden, a pumpkin baking contest, and a $40 pumpkin floral arrangement workshop. Organizer and tourism listings give the weekend as Oct. 16–18 or Oct. 17–18.
