EASTON, MARYLAND — On Aug. 11 the County Council split 2-2 on a short-term-rental referral. Lynn Mielke and Pete Lesher voted yes. Dave Stepp and Keasha Haythe did not. President Chuck Callahan was absent.

A 2-2 referral is not a decision and not an endorsement of any STR bill.
