SUDLERSVILLE, MARYLAND — Washington College trap and skeet swept the High Overall podium at its Battle of the Bay dual against Delaware, hosted at Sudlersville Skeet Club, per the college athletics release posted Monday.
Four 50-target events — American skeet, doubles skeet, doubles trap and American trap singles — made up the day. Freshman Ethan Kimmins won High Overall on the men's side with 180 of 200 targets. Trice Moore took second and Cole Coppage third after an overtime shootoff. Gracie Heintzelman was high lady at 162 of 200.
Kimmins also won trap singles 49 of 50 and doubles skeet 47 of 50, and he tied teammate Cole Coppage for the top skeet score at 48 of 50, the Shoreman of the Week release said. Only Delaware made the trip this year; the Naval Academy did not compete.
