EASTON, MARYLAND — Chesapeake Music brings Synchrony Quartet, a Chicago-based saxophone quartet, to the Ebenezer Theater at Prager Family Center for the Arts, 17 S. Washington St., on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. General admission is $50 plus a $5 ticket fee. Chesapeake Music lists free tickets for students (plus one accompanying adult), teachers and Talbot County first responders, and a two-for-one offer for first-time Chesapeake Music ticket buyers who use the promo code new2for1.
Doors open at 6:45 p.m., and the concert is expected to run about an hour and 45 minutes, including a short intermission. Seating is general admission and unreserved. The theater holds about 160 people, 115 on the main floor and 45 in the balcony; an elevator runs from the street-level lobby to the main seating area, and the balcony is reached by stairs only.
The quartet is Philip Kleutgens on soprano saxophone, Hudson O’Reilly on alto, Matthew Johnson on tenor and Haven Kahn on baritone. Chesapeake Music says the group returns to the Ebenezer after its performance at the 2026 Chesapeake Chamber Music Competition, where it took home the Anne D. Moran Silver Prize. Each member writes arrangements for the group, and the posted program shows that work: Debussy’s Suite Bergamasque, Clair de lune included, in Kahn’s arrangement; Piazzolla’s Tango Zero Hour, arranged by Kleutgens and Johnson; and, after intermission, newer pieces by Caroline Shaw, Travis Laplante, Gemma Peacocke and others. Chesapeake Music notes that programs and artists may change.
