Salisbury Men’s and Women’s Golf Each Finish Fourth at Battle at Bulle Rock

HAVRE DE GRACE, MARYLAND — Salisbury University’s men’s and women’s golf teams each finished fourth Tuesday at the two-round Battle at Bulle Rock, hosted by Alvernia University at Bulle Rock Golf Club, according to the university’s athletics releases.

The men shot 319 in the final round for a 630 total, nine strokes ahead of fifth-place Moravian and one behind Stevenson for third. Ryan Henneman closed with a 75 and tied for sixth among 55 individuals at 153. Colton Thomas, a sophomore from Salisbury and James M. Bennett, tied for 10th at 155.

The women posted 360 on the final day for a 717 total, two strokes behind third-place Stevenson, and finished second among Division III teams in a field of nine complete teams. Both teams next play Oct. 18-19 at Williamsburg National Golf Club in Virginia.

Stevenson edged both Sea Gull teams for third, by one stroke on the men’s side and two on the women’s.
