SALISBURY, MARYLAND — Salisbury returner Dario Belizaire was named to the D3football.com Team of the Week at the returner position, per a Sept. 29 university athletics release and a matching New Jersey Athletic Conference note.

Belizaire, from Cambridge, Md., totaled 184 all-purpose yards and returned two punts for touchdowns of 50 and 64 yards in No. 13 Salisbury’s 47-10 win over Catholic on Saturday. The Team of the Week is D3football.com’s weekly honor roll in its 28th season, with players nominated by schools. Salisbury called it the program’s first national recognition of the season.

Belizaire also drew NJAC Special Teams Player of the Week honors for the same Catholic performance.

The Sea Gulls open NJAC play Saturday, Oct. 3, at The College of New Jersey at 3 p.m. in Ewing, N.J.
