CLEVELAND, OHIO — The Tampa Bay Rays beat the Cleveland Guardians 7-3 on Saturday night at Progressive Field, tying the American League Championship Series at two games apiece and turning it into a best-of-three.

Junior Caminero's RBI double into the left-field corner in the sixth inning put Tampa Bay ahead to stay. The ball left his bat at 110.2 mph and carried over a leaping José Ramírez.

The Rays added three runs in the seventh. With two runners in scoring position, Jonathan Aranda grounded a single through the right side that rolled under the glove of right fielder Chase DeLauter for an error, scoring both runners; Aranda later scored on a sacrifice fly.

Cleveland answered in the bottom of the seventh with a Travis Bazzana home run and an RBI single from Brayan Rocchio. Yandy Díaz put it away in the ninth with a two-run homer off Matt Festa.

Rays starter Nick Martinez allowed one run in 5 1/3 innings, on DeLauter's RBI single in the first. Freddy Peralta, a starter, came out of the bullpen with a runner on first and one out in the sixth and got Steven Kwan and DeLauter on fly balls to center to protect a 2-1 lead.

"He saved me," Martinez said. "He saved our game today."

"This is the ALCS. We obviously would have loved to have taken tonight, but we still have a three-game series ahead of us against a really good team," Guardians manager Stephen Vogt said.

Game 5 is Sunday at 5:08 p.m. ET at Progressive Field on TBS, truTV, UniMas and HBO Max. Drew Rasmussen starts for the Rays against Cleveland left-hander Parker Messick. The win guarantees the series returns to Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg for Game 6 on Monday. The winner faces the Milwaukee Brewers in the World Series.

Cleveland's first-inning run was the only one Martinez gave up.
