OWINGS MILLS, MARYLAND — Lamar Jackson will not play Sunday night when the Ravens visit the Atlanta Falcons, and Tyler Huntley will start at quarterback, the team said Friday.
Head Coach Jesse Minter ruled out Jackson, who has an ankle injury, and outside linebacker Trey Hendrickson, who has a finger injury. Jackson did not practice this week. He missed the second half of last Sunday's 24-18 win over Tennessee.
The Ravens (3-1) and Falcons (2-2) each have won two straight. Kickoff is 8:20 p.m. at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on NBC and Peacock, with WBAL (1090 AM) and 98 Rock (97.9 FM) on radio.
It will be Huntley's 17th regular-season start, the team said. The Ravens won both of his starts last season, against Chicago and Green Bay.
"'Snoop' has done a great job this week, and we have operated at a high level, and I expect him to play really well," Minter said.
Wide receiver Zay Flowers (foot) and cornerback Marlon Humphrey (hamstring/calf) are questionable. So is right guard Andrew Vorhees (foot). Center Cam Jurgens (concussion) will not debut until next week.
The Ravens play at Cleveland on Sunday, Oct. 18, at 1 p.m.
