OWINGS MILLS, MARYLAND — Lamar Jackson returned to Ravens practice as a limited participant Wednesday, his first time back on the field since he hurt his ankle Oct. 4, the team reported.
Whether Jackson plays Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals remains to be seen. Head coach Jesse Minter said Jackson's work was with the full team, not on his own.
"Again, it's a day-by-day thing but he was able to get a little bit of work in and be involved in the preparation," Minter said.
Jackson has missed the past two games. Tyler Huntley started both, leading a comeback win in Atlanta before the 13-10 loss at Cleveland on Sunday.
Center Cam Jurgens cleared the concussion protocol and practiced fully for the first time since Baltimore acquired him in an Oct. 7 trade. Outside linebacker Tavius Robinson, who leads the Ravens with 3.5 sacks, was sidelined by a pectoral injury, and safety Jaylinn Hawkins was limited with a knee injury. Cornerback T.J. Tampa returned to practice after being designated for return from injured reserve. Fifteen players were on the injury report.
The Ravens and Bengals kick off at 1 p.m. Sunday at M&T Bank Stadium on CBS, with the radio call on WBAL (1090 AM) and 98 Rock (97.9 FM).
One limited Wednesday, and Jackson is back on the practice field.
