The 22nd annual Plein Air Easton competition ran July 10–19. Fifty-eight artists — 52 selected by the juror plus six invited from the prior year — painted outdoors across Easton and the surrounding county.
Vermont painter Mark Boedges served as juror. Mary Morton, curator and head of French paintings at the National Gallery of Art, judged the finished work.
New paintings were added daily at Plein Air Easton Headquarters and the Academy Art Museum through a Collectors' Preview Party on Friday, July 17, with doors at 5:00 p.m. and the exhibition opening at 5:30 p.m. The festival calendar ran through July 19.
