EASTON, MARYLAND — Talbot County government offices are closed Monday, Sept. 7, 2026, for Labor Day. The county’s 2026 Holiday Schedule lists the date. The county calendar’s “County Offices Closed September 7 2026” entry says the same thing in one line: offices will be closed that Monday.

Talbot County Free Library’s day calendar for Sept. 7 marks both branches closed for Labor Day. The Easton listing states that the Easton library and the St. Michaels library will be closed for the holiday.

Readers who need a counter or a book Monday should plan around the closure. County and library pages are the records for reopen schedules after the holiday.
