EASTON, MARYLAND — Easton Public Works will begin seasonal leaf collection Monday, Oct. 19, under a nine-zone schedule that runs through Dec. 25, the town said in an Oct. 1 news flash.
Residents may rake leaves to the curb — above the curb and out of the street — during leaf season. The town divides Easton into nine color-coded zones on its Fall Leaf Pickup page and posts a Leaf Vacuum Truck Tracker that is updated daily during collection windows to show which zone is being served and which is next.
| Leaf collection windows (Easton) | Zones |
|---|---|
| Oct. 19–31 | 1, 2, 3, 4 and 9 |
| Nov. 2–13 | 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 |
| Nov. 16–Dec. 4 | 1, 2, 3, 4 and 9 |
| Dec. 7–25 | 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 |
The town asks residents to rake leaves into neat piles near the curb, keep piles out of the roadway, and keep them off manholes, storm drains, utility lines and guide wires. Leaf piles should be free of branches, trash and other materials. Residents who prefer to bag leaves may schedule a bulk pickup by calling Public Works at 410-822-2525. Outside leaf season — February through mid-October — leaves must be bagged and scheduled for bulk pickup at the same number.
The Fall Leaf Pickup page also links leaf-pickup guides and a service-zone map. For questions, call Easton Public Works at 410-822-2525.
